Hello fellow dog lovers!
I am very excited to start this new chapter in my life and look forward to getting to know you and your pets! My love for animals has been something that has driven me all my life. I received my Associates degree in veterinary technology graduating on the Dean’s List in 2003. In 2009 I founded Potter’s Angels Rescue, which achieved non-profit status in 2011, currently has over 130 volunteers and has saved thousands of animals to date.
Upon starting this rescue, I quickly realized I would need to learn more about dog behavior to be able to help the many dogs that were suffering in that regard. So began my mission to better understand dogs and improve my communication skills to alter their behavior. I have attended countless workshops and seminars on dog behavior and fine-tuned my skills through the many rescue dogs that I have fostered. I plan to use these skills and knowledge to operate Four Paws Inn and provide a safe, yet fun, haven for your pet during the day. I look forward to working with you (and your dogs!) and thank you for trusting me to care for your pups while you’re away!
Hello all you cool doggos and puppies! I am a free spirited, calm energy pack leader. I grew up on a quarter horse horse ranch in Montana where I was involved in 4-h, pony club and FFA. All my life I've had dogs and been around the farm life. My love and understanding of animals started at home but became a passion when I volunteered some time at a local animal shelter after school. My sense and purpose of wanting to help, teach and save lives has yet to waiver over 30yrs. I'm very intuitive and can read body language and feel energy of our beloved four legged family members. I am ever so grateful to be embarking on this journey with you and Potter's Angels Rescue. I've saved about 30 dogs over the past 5yrs fostering and have enjoyed every minute of it! I can't wait to become part of your pack and learn a few tricks and maybe even share a few with you.
I am so excited to meet everyone! My name is Tessie and I have assisted my Mama with many of rescue dogs that needed a friend. For some reason, dogs don't always trust her so she has me help them relax and feel safe. Who better to teach them than me? I once was rescued too and when I first met Mama I didn't trust her one bit! Spoiler alert **she is my favorite person in the whole world now!!**
Long ago, I lived a miserable existence in the puppy mills of Minnesota. For some unknown reason they decided to cull me as they often do with their unwanted dogs, but my Mama wouldn't let that happen and she sent a Uhaul all the way to Minnesota to rescue me and 41 other friends of mine. She taught me that not all people are evil and, actually most are very nice! And I now help pass that message along to other dogs so they can feel safe with people just like me! As much as I enjoy that job, I look forward to playing with some pups that aren't scared of everything, but don't worry, I will help you if you are! Welcome to our playhouse!
Meet our compassionate and knowledgeable dog groomer Nermina Beslagic! She is a professionally trained Pet Stylist with over five years of experience, as well as a Vet Tech graduate from Vermont Technical College. She believes that in order to be a successful groomer it takes a wealth of knowledge about all things dogs, more importantly dog behavior. She is happy to groom both small and large breeds but is particularly fond of the little guys, such as shih tzus, chihuahuas and dachshunds as they can be “full of personality”. If you are looking for a high quality and affordable groom tailored to your dog's specific needs Nermina is here to help! References are available upon request.
